Bertin Ergonomie supports nuclear industry in safety demonstrations using human and organisational factors

As part of its annual conference to promote young researchers and engineers in the field of nuclear energy, the SFEN invited Bertin Ergonomie to talk about its work on behalf of EDF to modernise and improve the human and organisational reliability of control rooms.
Bertin Ergonomie has been asked by a number of manufacturers in the field (suppliers of equipment for nuclear power plants) to provide Human Factor Integration Plans (HFIPs) for equipment to be installed in European nuclear power plants. The aim is to limit human error right from the design stage and to improve the performance of the equipment in a high-risk environment.
