The theme of the theoretical research relates more specifically to the appropriation of technological innovations in radiotherapy by electroradiology manipulators. This demand arises from the current context in external radiotherapy, where the renewal of treatment equipment has been constant for some fifteen years. These new technologies bring undeniable benefits for patient health, but also raise issues concerning the safety of care: automation can lead to the risk of caregivers losing control of the process. Gaining a better understanding of how new technologies are appropriated by healthcare staff is a major challenge in terms of healthcare safety.
