GA Smart Building

Future uses of connected buildings

Need

An innovation approach to the future needs of users of connected buildings

As part of its research and innovation initiatives, GA Smart Building wanted to look ahead to the future needs of users of its connected buildings and the new services it could offer to provide them with new ways of interacting with their environment.

Intervention

HDG supported GA Smart Building in the implementation of a process centred on uses and innovation (Barcamp and Hackaton type).

HDG assisted GA in surveying the company about the uses, expectations and day-to-day difficulties of its employees in their working environment, with a view to identifying innovative concepts for embedded technologies in its future buildings, in the service of people.

HDG's objective was to help GA Smart Building imagine tomorrow's relationships and interactions between people and their working environment.

Using design thinking techniques, our group was able, in record time, to turn the ideas of a representative panel of the company (100 people) into real actions and concrete projects.

Results

Human design Group provided GA with its expertise in :

  • Defining the Design Thinking methodology to achieve the desired results
  • Leading the process sessions
  • Formalise and analyse data from sessions from a human factor perspective
