Intervention

As part of this intervention in Human Factors Engineering, Human Design Group carried out a number of analyses:

1. Macroscopic« (organisational) and »microscopic« analyses of safety-sensitive operations based on interventions in the various existing installations (feedback);

2. Analysis of the design data proposed by the ACA (electricity, command control, etc.) ;

3. Leading design working groups to integrate requirements FOH in the specification files

Through these analyses, Human Design Group identified the requirements specified by the client in terms of Organisational and human factors in its safety options, identified the «business» requirements linked to the current activities of front-line operators and, lastly, monitored the designers to ensure that the requirements were integrated into the design. Organisational and human factors in the specification files.

Results

Human Design Group has drawn up recommendations Organisational and human factors for safety-sensitive operations and the layout of the future control room for the port's electrical installations. Human Design Group also defined the optimal organisation to be put in place during the works phases (transitional phases) and provided data FOH to produce the facility's safety report.
