New layout concept for bank branches

Human Design Group was asked to help overhaul the design concept for Société Générale's bank branches. The project aims to innovate the customer experience within the branch, with new furniture and spaces (reception, waiting and appointments).

The project comes at a time when new digital technologies and new services are being introduced in the branches, and has to respond to the technical constraints of the great architectural diversity of the branches.

Intervention

Human Design Group provided support to TETRIS for :

  • Provide expert analysis of the layout project and future furniture and workstations
  • Suggest ways of optimising furniture solutions and the customer journey (from entry to care)
  • Validate and take part in the acceptance of 1st series furniture

Results

DG helped consolidate the project from the point of view of employees' working conditions and the customer experience. The main benefits of our assignment for our client :

  • Control the working conditions of employees by carrying out an ergonomic analysis of the characteristics of the future furniture in relation to future business tasks and ergonomic standards.
  • Using Experience Maps, understand business activities and customer journeys to identify potential pain points and kpi
  • Drawing up an ergonomic reference framework to guide the future design of the customer's workstations and workspaces
