User-centred innovation

Need

Human design Group, a major partner in the definition of methodologies for user-centred innovation in aeronautics.

Human design Group assists aeronautical contractors on the ground (air traffic control) and on board (aircraft cockpit) in defining methodologies for generating innovations user-centred innovations. These user-centred innovations aim to :

  • Ensuring that operational needs are met by taking into account human characteristics when defining the associated HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces);
  • Guaranteeing a high level of performance.

Our human factors specialists are mainly involved in defining the cockpits of the future. These methodologies can be integrated into a conventional or agile design process.

Intervention

  • Support our customers in defining and implementing a method for generating’innovations (new concepts) user-centred
  • Carrying out needs analyses, task analyses and user activity analyses
  • Generate innovative concepts automation and man-machine allocation of functions to meet the needs and characteristics of users and their environment.
  • Illustrate innovative concepts
  • Qualify concepts through iterative evaluation loops with end users
  • Maturating and refining these innovative concepts in relation to the reference use cases.

Results

  • Innovations qualified upstream
  • Our’user-focused innovations facilitate the passage of TLRs and generate patent applications.
