We are pleased to announce that Viviane Perret has just submitted her thesis manuscript entitled: «Development and validation of ergonomic criteria for Human-Simplex System interactions». Begun in 2013 (in partnership with AIRBUS and the CLLE-LTC Research Unit at the University of Toulouse), this research aims to enable Bertin Ergonomie to strengthen its expertise in the design and certification of complex systems using a systems approach (Morin, 2015).
The current digital revolution should encourage ergonomics to understand the field of complexity. Indeed, the increasingly close integration of systems with one another, leading to talk of systems of systems, is giving rise to complex interactive situations in many human activities. This thesis aims to provide a methodological frame of reference for understanding complexity from an ergonomic perspective.
