This research enabled Bertin Ergonomie to identify a key challenge: How to design a space for consultation and interaction that makes the most of the multidimensional nature of information, whether in terms of presenting, handling or sharing data.
To achieve this objective, a user-centred design approach was implemented. A review of the current state of the art in the fields of information monitoring, visualisation and knowledge management was carried out, along with a review of similar software.
