SNCF wants to run automatic and non-automatic trains on the same section of RER line E. It is designing an original and innovative operating system dedicated to managing rail traffic on this section.
Bertin Ergonomie was called in to check that the operating procedures for this tool were appropriate and coherent, taking into account the pre-existing tools, the skills and experience of SNCF staff and the operational requirements of the newly-created positions.
Bertin Ergonomie provides recommendations that are integrated directly into the tool, using recreated scenarios (test bench) to adapt the interactors, the HMI processes and the business procedure corresponding to the different operator roles around the HMI of the future NEXTEO driver station.
