In recent years, Bertin Ergonomie has gained recognised expertise in specifying the layout of control rooms for major operators (EDF, RATP, CNES, TOTAL, etc.).
Ultimately, each metro line will have its own Control Centre. The main technological challenge is the rapid computerisation of control systems, which is bringing about significant changes in the way staff work. This requires a detailed understanding of their work in order to design smart workstations and optimise the layout of workspaces, thereby combining efficiency, safety and well-being. Bertin Ergonomie undertakes a wide-ranging study covering ergonomics, architecture, design, acoustics and lighting design.
